[Merlin's voice, slightly muffled because of the distance at first, is much clearer when he speaks again
after a few seconds, though he sounds anything but cheerful. If anything, he sounds sullen.]

It's Merlin. Sorry I missed you. I'm probably at the hospital or... [here, he pauses,
then continues like the words are being dragged out of him in the most painful manner possible.] Or being useful for my amazingly skilled, patient, and forgiving master instead of
dallying about and picking flowers like the girl's petticoat I usually am.

[A pained moment of silence.]

[That flaming beard was gone, and Samantha was feeling better. There was a possibility she had employment, and in something that she actually understood and could handle even without her magic at her beck and call. She had, at the least, recognized that she wasn't going to escape this place easily and that a long plan was needed, and she had something that she could study in the city.

So, she was feeling what could honestly be described as 'politely neutral to the world.' By her standards, this qualified as something closely akin to being happy. That meant it was probably a good day to touch base with Merlin. She'd already spoken to Conan a few times, and actually found she liked the kid. There was little point in avoiding this forever. Besides, her neighbors were insane.]

Hello, Merlin? This is Samantha Grey. We spoke privately about my powers. I've since contacted Conan, and when you have a chance to speak, I would like to do so. In person or on this infernal shackle is fine, whichever you prefer.

[When she calls, there should be two things to note about this: one was that this was voice which something kind of rare that she uses. The second thing was that she sounded rather serious which was unusual for the acrobat. But she needed to talk to someone and honestly, Merlin's been the closest person she could open up to truly.]

[It definitely didn't sound like the cheerful acrobat he knows, but the bracelets don't lie. At least, he doesn't think they do.]

[ It's simple, small, sitting unwrapped in the center of Merlin's bed. He might even sit on it if he isn't paying attention - and there will be no one in the room when he does happen upon it.

Just a leather wristcuff, laying haphazardly amongst the sheets, laces up. When Merlin observes the other side, he'll find a simple enough design imprinted on the leather in gold. A dragon not entirely unlike the Pendragon crest, but different, in that it's Merlin's, and no one else's.

Underneath it will be a single strip of parchment with Arthur's neat print scrawled across it:

[It isn't far at all from the home of Team Free Will to New Camelot, and so Castiel decided to wander over there instead of calling first. He hasn't been out of the house since the attack ended, so he's going a little stircrazy anyway.

He steps inside, and wanders around looking for Merlin.]
